GameBoy Engine Management System
The GameBoy Engine Management System
uses the Gameboy general purpose interface 'GBGPI'
to convert a GBpocket into an engine management system with on screen display.
The purpose of the project was to develop a light weight and portable system
to control a car for entering into the Shell ECO Marathon 2000.
Last year the car managed 2500 miles
per gallon using a four stroke 25cc petrol engine with standard carburetor.
This year it is hoped that an improved engine and fuel injection system
will push this even further.
